Job summary

Uptown Grill Guelph location is seeking an experienced Line Cook to join our kitchen. If you have a passion for cooking, a strong work ethic, and a positive attitude, we want to hear from you. Weekend or weekday availability is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience as a line cook in a high-volume kitchen.
• Breakfast experience is a big plus.
• Strong knowledge of food safety (Food Handler Certification is a big plus).
• Able to communicate clearly with front-of-house and back-of-house staff.
• Flexible, punctual, and Reliable team player.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple orders at once.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook breakfast and lunch items to order
• Follow recipes and portion controls
• Ensure food quality, safety, and presentation standards are met
• Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
• Clean and maintain your station and kitchen equipment
• Assist with prep tasks and kitchen duties as assigned
• Work closely with the rest of the team to ensure smooth service
