Job summary

Siemens Healthineers Canada is seeking an Intermediate Product Reliability Engineer to ensure ongoing sensor calibration accuracy and monitor product performance both in-house and in the field. Qualifications

• Undergrad degree in Engineering, Science or Technology or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant industrial experience.
• Proficiency with statistical tools and methods for product performance evaluation.
• Ability to independently solve non-routine technical problems and drive cross-functional alignment.
• Working knowledge of product testing and control strategies.
• Deep understanding of sensor sub-system calibration concepts and data analysis.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical documentation.
• Ability to guide and train junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Independently analyze sensor calibration data and generate configuration files on schedule.
• Develop improvements to calibration approaches and document changes.
• Establish and verify primary Value Assignments for sensors and improve test methods.
• Review finished goods and testing outputs to ensure sensor performance remains within spec.
• Monitor field and in-house performance metrics and coordinate root cause analysis.
• Design and implement improved control algorithms/analytics for monitoring performance.
• Lead projects related to assay improvements and design changes as needed.
• Provide technical troubleshooting support to Service, Regulatory, Quality, or customers.
