Directions Youth Services is a division of Family Services of Greater Vancouver (FSGV) in Vancouver, BC. We are seeking a Senior Youth Worker for the Directions Day Program to lead case management, mentor Youth Support Workers, and provide guidance to youth accessing the centre, helping them move from street life to healthier, supported pathways.

Senior Youth Worker - Directions Day Program Competition #51-26
This is a full-time, 35hrs per week position that serves homeless, at risk, street-involved, and street-entrenched youth, and takes a leadership role in internal case management andmaintainingthe safety of the resource. This position provides guidance, information and referral to youth accessing the centre, promoting safety and, where possible,assistingin their transition from the street to healthier, alternative lifestyles. This position takes on a mentoring role with Youth Support Workers, practicum students, and others in the Day Program. This position reports to the Day Program Assistant Manager of Directions Youth Services Centre, or the Program Manager in the absence of the Assistant Manager.
Work Hours: 35 hours per week (Monday to Friday), 8:00 am-4:00 pm
Salary: Grade 9, salary range $28.81-31.91

Directions Youth Services is a division of Family Services of Greater Vancouver (FSGV), which for more than 90 years has provided a variety of essential resources for children, families, and individuals in the Greater Vancouver community.
