BDO Canada is seeking a Senior Consultant in its Workday practice to drive end-to-end Workday implementations within finance transformations in Canada. You will lead functional workstreams, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and deliver practical, integrated solutions that align with client objectives.

You will build trusted client relationships, guide stakeholders, and contribute to delivery methodology while coaching junior consultants and supporting business development activities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years delivering enterprise finance technology or finance transformation initiatives, including Experience with Workday implementations.
• Active Workday certification in Financial Management areas (e.g., Procure to Pay, Contracts to Cash, Expense Services).
• Demonstrated experience leading a functional workstream, facilitating client workshops, and managing deliverables with senior stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of implementation methods, requirements analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and stabilization.
• Experience in a consulting or client-facing environment with a track record of building trusted relationships and delivering high-quality client service.

Responsabilités

• Lead functional workstreams on Workday implementation projects from discovery to post-go-live support.
• Build trusted relationships with client leaders and serve as a senior functional advisor with clear recommendations.
• Plan and facilitate design workshops with senior stakeholders to elicit requirements and drive decisions.
• Translate requirements into scalable Workday configurations and document decisions and impacts.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support an integrated Workday solution.
• Lead testing activities and ensure quality through disciplined review and validation.
• Create client-ready deliverables including process designs, configuration workbooks, and training materials.
• Deliver knowledge transfer and training to client teams for sustainable adoption.
• Identify opportunities to improve client outcomes and communicate insights to stakeholders.
• Coach junior consultants and contribute to Workday delivery methodology and knowledge assets.
