Job summary

TD is seeking an experienced Senior Windows Engineer to join the Windows Engineering team in Toronto. You will design enterprise Windows standards, build automation playbooks, and serve as a Level 3 escalation point for complex technical issues in financial services environments.

You will develop PowerShell and Ansible automation, define security baselines, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with Build and Operations teams to deliver scalable solutions while adhering to SOX/PCI-DSS controls.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Windows Server experience (2016/2019/2022).
• Strong knowledge of Group Policy, clustering, and security baselines.
• Experience with automation tooling and enterprise infrastructure standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop enterprise Windows standards and architecture.
• Create automation playbooks and reusable frameworks for OS deployment.
• Serve as Level 3 escalation for complex Windows issues.
• Mentor Level 1/2 staff and collaborate across Build and Operations teams.
• Partner with security/compliance to align with SOX/PCI-DSS controls.
