Job summary

CSS Wind, a division of the CSS Industrial Group of Companies, is currently hiring an experienced Wind Turbine Blade Repair Technician to support wind energy projects across Canada. This travel-heavy role involves advanced blade inspections, defect analysis, and Category 1–5 composite repairs following engineering guidelines.

You will work at heights (up to 300 ft) with rope access or platforms, documenting findings and submitting accurate service reports.

Qualifications

Experience in blade repair, composites, or similar mechanical work.
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
Comfortable working at heights and in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

Inspect and document blade damage with photos and reports.
Perform coating and structural repairs on blades per engineering guidelines.
Work at heights (up to 300 ft) using rope access or platforms.
Complete and submit service reports and DWRs using mobile systems.
Review and submit repair documentation to Operations and Engineering teams.
Communicate site progress and issues with internal teams and clients.
Support LOTO procedures on wind turbine generators.
Assist with site setup, including labour and materials coordination.
Perform rigging and derigging tasks as required.
Follow safety procedures and participate in hazard assessments and safety meetings.
