Job summary

Embury Co in Mississauga, ON is seeking a skilled Welder to join our fabrication team. You will interpret complex weld specs and fabricate architectural metal products using TIG, MIG, brazing and soldering processes.

Requirements include a high school diploma and 3–5 years of welding experience. Expect a 40-hour work week with some non-standard shifts, and an attractive benefits package. Located in Mississauga, Ontario.

Qualifications

• Secondary school graduation (high school) required.
• 3–5 years of professional welding experience.
• Ability to read weld blueprints and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications and process standards.
• Operate manual, semi-automatic or automated welding equipment.
• Inspect welds to ensure conformance to quality standards.
• Shape and prepare metal using flame-cutting, brakes, shears and forming equipment.
• Join materials using welding, brazing and soldering processes.
• Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding equipment.
