Job summary

All-Equip in St. Marys, Ontario is seeking an experienced Welder/Fitter to join a busy manufacturing environment.

You will work across production and custom fabrication, from repeat‑run trailer components to one‑off prototypes, using MIG/TIG welding with an emphasis on precision and quality. The role requires 3–5+ years of welding and fitting, ability to read drawings, and willingness to work day shifts on-site.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of welding and fitting experience in fabrication, trailer, or heavy-equipment environments.
• Proficiency in aluminum and steel welding; MIG required, TIG is an asset.
• Strong reading and interpretation of drawings, layouts, and tolerances.
• Experience in both production and custom fabrication settings.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret drawings and fabrication sketches for production and custom projects.
• Fit, assemble, and weld aluminum and steel components with precision.
• Perform production welding on repeat‑run trailer components with quality.
• Support prototyping and one‑off parts, test assemblies, and new designs.
• Collaborate with engineering to resolve fit‑up challenges and refine designs.
• Select welding processes (MIG/TIG) based on material and thickness.
• Use jigs, fixtures, and measuring tools for accurate fit‑up.
