Job summary

LPL Financials in Canada seeks a Sr. Analyst, People Systems (Workday) to lead Extend development and integrations architecture.

You will design, build, and optimize scalable Workday Extend solutions and ensure seamless data exchange across enterprise systems. The role partners with business and technical teams to translate complex requirements into robust Extend applications, data models, and integration frameworks, while mentoring junior staff and driving continuous improvements in the People

Qualifications

• 3-5 years HR systems experience with expertise in Workday Extend and integrations.
• Hands-on experience with Workday Extend, Prism, Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and Workday APIs.
• Proven ability to design and deliver scalable integration architectures.
• Understanding of Workday security, reporting, and calculated fields.

Responsibilities

• Act as a technical leader within the People Systems team, driving innovation and continuous improvement.
• Design, develop, deploy, and enhance Workday Extend applications, translating business requirements into scalable, user-friendly solutions while establishing development standards, reusable components, and governance.
• Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of Workday integrations across HR, Finance, and third-party systems, ensuring data integrity, reliability, and effective integration strategies.
• Lead end-to-end solution architecture and delivery across Extend, integrations, configuration, and reporting, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards, security, governance, testing, and documentation requirements.
• Develop advanced reports and data models, partner with stakeholders to ensure data consistency, and leverage Workday Core, Extend, and Prism to deliver optimal data solutions

The Sr. Analyst, People Systems (Workday) is an experienced HR technology professional with deep expertise in Workday Extend development and integrations architecture. This role is responsible for designing, building, and optimizing scalable solutions that extend Workday capabilities and enable seamless data exchange across enterprise systems. The Sr. Analyst serves as a strategic partner to business leaders and technical teams, translating complex requirements into innovative Extend applications and robust integration frameworks. This role requires strong technical depth, solution architecture skills, and the ability to influence stakeholders across functional and technical domains. The individual will also mentor junior team members and drive continuous improvement within the People Systems function.

Responsibilities:

• Act as a technical leader within the People Systems team, driving innovation and continuous improvement.

Workday Extend Development & Innovation

• Design, develop, deploy, and enhance Workday Extend applications, translating business requirements into scalable, user-friendly solutions while establishing development standards, reusable components, and governance.

Integrations Architecture & Delivery

• Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of Workday integrations across HR, Finance, and third-party systems, ensuring data integrity, reliability, and effective integration strategies.

Solution Architecture & Delivery

• Lead end-to-end solution architecture and delivery across Extend, integrations, configuration, and reporting, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards, security, governance, testing, and documentation requirements.

Reporting & Data Enablement

• Develop advanced reports and data models, partner with stakeholders to ensure data consistency, and leverage Workday Core, Extend, and Prism to deliver optimal data solutions

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of HR systems experience with good expertise in Workday Extend and integrations.
• Hands-on experience with Workday Extend, Workday Prism, Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and Workday APIs.
• Proven ability to design and deliver scalable integration architectures.
• Understanding of Workday security, reporting, and calculated fields.
• Good communication skills with the ability to translate between technical and business audiences.
• Demonstrated experience leading technical projects with minimal supervision.

Preferences:

• Workday Certification
• Experience within the financial or wealth management industry
