Job summary

Enerflex Ltd. is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to lead water-related process studies, design and simulations, and support start-up and commissioning. The role focuses on produced water treatment in oil and gas, based at the Calgary Water Solutions facility.

You will prepare PFDs, material balances, P&IDs, and operating manuals, while collaborating with Static, Instrumentation, Electrical, and QA teams. Travel internationally is required to support client sites and projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering and P.Eng. designation.
12+ years of progressive process engineering experience, preferably within the oil and gas or water treatment industry.
Hands-on experience with produced water treatment systems, including design and commissioning.
Strong technical knowledge across multiple engineering disciplines.
Willingness and ability to travel internationally.

Responsibilities

Lead water treatment package studies and design.
Support development of process flow diagrams and P&IDs.
Perform simulations and feasibility studies for standard products and packages using HYSYS and Flow Simulation.
Prepare technical proposals, design basis, and operating manuals.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams during design reviews and projects.
