Job summary

Veolia Calgary seeks a Lead Field Service Representative to manage on-site operations and maintenance of water treatment systems, mentor teammates, and coordinate daily field work across multiple technologies.

The role involves troubleshooting mechanical and electrical equipment, performing analytical testing, and ensuring safety, quality, and contract compliance while supporting diverse customer sites across Canada.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and controls on equipment such as valves, compressors, pumps, and sensors.
• Consult with customer management and operations teams with confidence.
• Mentor and train new FSRs on site, and coordinate coverage and work for team members in collaboration with the manager.
• Perform analytical testing such as turbidity, hardness, chlorine, pH, CO2, O2, SDI, TOC, and other site-specific tests.
• Conduct maintenance and calibration activities for on-site equipment.
• Review customer plant installations and compare against Water Tech reference drawings (P&IDs, electrical schematics, etc.).
• Create and maintain site paperwork and provide customers with detailed technical summaries of work performed.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and adequate supply of chemicals and replacement parts.
• Ensure contract compliance of volume and quality specifications.
• Provide customers with informal training around operation and maintenance of their system; serve as a reference.
• Other duties as assigned.
