Job summary

Wainbee is seeking a Senior Waste Equipment Service Technician / Foreman to join our field service team in Ontario. The role focuses on diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining industrial waste equipment while leading service projects and guiding junior technicians.

The ideal candidate brings strong mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and welding experience, with excellent troubleshooting and customer communication skills. A valid Ontario G license is required and a company vehicle is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience repairing waste, industrial, or heavy equipment.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Basic welding and fabrication experience.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Valid Ontario G Driver's Licence.
• Able to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain compactors, balers, pressure washers, scrubbers, catch basin covers, waste bins, and other industrial equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and respond to emergency service calls.
• Complete basic PLC troubleshooting and equipment programming.
• Perform light welding, fabrication, and cutting as required.
• Complete digital work orders and service reports accurately.
• Prepare repair recommendations and communicate effectively with customers.
• Assist with estimating jobs and ordering parts.
• Lead service projects and provide guidance to junior technicians.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment.

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Waste Equipment Service Technician / Foreman to join a growing field service team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician with strong mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and welding experience who enjoys troubleshooting industrial equipment and leading service projects.
