Metro Compactor Service is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician to test, maintain, diagnose, and repair waste and recycling equipment. You will read electrical schematics and install, commission and wire panels with PLCs, relays, sensors, HMIs, motors and hydraulic components.
Based in our Production Shop, this role runs 7:00am–3:30pm at CAD 24–26 per hour, with a 5% incentive bonus. Experience with hydraulic systems and forklift operation is an asset.

The Electro-Mechanical Technician is responsible for testing, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing new or refurbished waste and recycling equipment (balers and compactors). Equipment is composed of electrical and hydraulic components. While working in the production shop, the electro-mechanical technician will be reading electrical schematics to install, commission and wire panels with PLCs, relays, sensors, HMIs, Motors, electrical solenoids, hydraulic cylinders and other components.
Location: Electrical Technicians will work from our Production Shop.
Work Hours: 7:00am - 3:30pm
Salary Range: $24-$26 per hour
Bonus: This position is eligible to receive an incentive award targeted at 5% of the base salary.
