Job summary

KPMG in Canada is seeking a seasoned Valuation professional to lead complex engagements across M&A, tax, reporting, and litigation support. You will work with Audit, Tax, Deal Advisory, and Forensics teams to deliver integrated conclusions and provide strategic insights through data analytics and AI-enabled tools.

Successful candidates bring CBV, CPA/CA, and at least 5 years of valuation experience, with a proven ability to mentor juniors and manage client engagements in a dynamic national firm.

Qualifications

• CPA/CA designation and CBV designation are strongly preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of direct valuation experience within a professional services context.
• Strong analytical and writing skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead valuation engagements for M&A, tax planning, financial reporting, and litigation support.
• Collaborate with Audit, Tax, Deal Advisory, Forensics, and sector teams to deliver integrated conclusions.
• Apply AI-enabled tools and data analytics to improve valuation insights and efficiency.
• Conduct in-depth economic, industry, and financial research.
• Draft, review, and deliver high-quality valuation reports.
