Job summary

Source Code is seeking a UX Designer to support the Ontario Public Service through the Enterprise Data Product Practice and related data products. You will focus on creating user-centered, accessible interfaces that simplify complex information across government portals.

You will lead user research, collaborate with product managers and developers in agile environments, and contribute to the enterprise design system while ensuring strong, clear communication of design decisions.

Qualifications

• Lead user research including interviews, surveys and usability tests.
• Communicate design decisions clearly to technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Design usable, accessible interfaces and contribute to enterprise design systems.
• Work within agile teams to integrate UX across the product lifecycle.
• Create sitemaps, flows, wireframes and prototypes.
• Foster workshops such as journey mapping and co-design sessions.

Responsibilities
