Senior User Experience Designer- Design System

Role Overview

As a Senior UX Designer on the Design Systems team for PTX DNA (Data and Analytics), you will define and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design consistency across products.

Key Responsibilities

1. Work closely with the SAP Fiori Design Team to contribute to and extend their existing design system for our products.
2. Create and evolve our internal design system, ensuring consistency across all platforms.
3. Develop guidelines, patterns, components, and templates aligned with SAP Fiori’s core system.
4. Collaborate with developers, product managers, and global teams to integrate and adopt the design system effectively.
5. Provide guidance on best practices related to design systems.
6. Document and maintain the design system, ensuring accessibility and organization.
7. Mentor junior and mid-level designers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in design, especially with design systems.
• Proven leadership in inspiring and leading design teams.
• Strong understanding of UX/UI principles, user-centered, and interaction design.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate design concepts.
• Experience with industry-standard design software (e.g., Figma).
• A portfolio demonstrating UI/UX expertise.
• Ability to work hybrid from Vancouver 2-3 days a week.
• Passion for innovation and pushing design boundaries.
• Bonus: experience with accessibility standards.
