Job summary

Frima in Quebec City and Montreal is seeking a Senior Unreal Programmer (C++) to lead advanced gameplay systems for next-generation titles. You will collaborate with the production team, mentor junior engineers, and own performance optimizations across Unreal Engine on console platforms.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of programming experience, deep knowledge of Unreal Engine, and proven success in console game development. Fluency in French and English is required, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of programming experience in game development.
• Strong Unreal Engine knowledge and console platform experience.
• Fluency in French and English required for collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Participate in daily Scrum meetings and set priorities.
• Support programmers with complex challenges and best practices.
• Define technical solutions with Lead Programmer and review code.
• Identify and resolve CPU/GPU/memory performance issues.
• Develop and maintain integrations between Unreal Engine and toolchains.
• Debug issues on new console hardware and OS updates.
