Key Objective

As a key member of the Financial Lines underwriting department, you will manage and grow a Private and Not-for-profit Management and Professional Liability book of business for the Branch Accounts team. Your expertise will drive growth and ensure profitability for this specialized line of business.

Responsibilities

• Risk selection, coverage negotiation, and pricing on a renewal portfolio focusing on Branch Accounts business.
• Develop and implement market-specific strategies, provide tailored solutions based on current market conditions and broker requirements, and collaborate with branch leadership on marketing strategies.
• Identify, analyze, and cultivate new business opportunities through active promotion of Chubb's products and leveraging your network.
• Conduct underwriting analysis to determine the best course of action for each risk.
• Partner with branch underwriters, Financial Lines peers, and management on new business and renewals; facilitate cross-selling with Major Accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with brokers and insureds across the region and Canada; educate brokers on Private and Not-for-Profit Management Liability.
• Engage in continuous self-development to enhance technical knowledge and industry awareness.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent work experience required.
• At least 3 years of underwriting experience in Financial Lines, with preference for Management Liability experience.
• Experience in marketing or customer development within insurance.

Compensation

The salary range for this role is approximately $95,000 to $135,000, depending on skills, experience, location, and other factors. Compensation may exceed this range based on the applicant's profile.
