Job summary

Northbridge Financial Corporation is seeking a Senior Underwriter for its commercial mid-market Healthcare, Education & Social Services & Senior Care (HESS) team. You will assess risks, collaborate with brokers to deliver sound underwriting decisions, and mentor less experienced underwriters in a collaborative setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of underwriting experience in Property/Casualty and MedMal.
• Commercial Auto underwriting experience would be an asset.
• Completed, or pursuing CIP designation.
• Strong customer service background.
• Team-first mentality.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite commercial mid-market risks with a focus on MedMal and Property/Casualty.
• Collaborate with broker partners to build a holistic risk picture and ensure sound decisions.
• Coach and mentor less experienced underwriters in a collaborative team.
• Support the HESS program and stand-alone mid-market risks.
