The Senior Underwriter / Field Underwriter, Commercial Mid-Market in Northern Alberta focuses on building a profitable portfolio through strong underwriting and proactive broker partnerships. Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial P&C underwriting experience, mid-market preferred.
• Ability to assess, price, negotiate, and structure complex risks.
• Proven ability to build broker, customer, and internal partner relationships.
• Pursue CIP/FCIP/CRM or equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Build and maintain trusted relationships with assigned brokers, serving as a responsive underwriting partner.
• Develop a strong understanding of the Northern Alberta market and identify new opportunities with broker partners.
• Underwrite, price, negotiate, and structure complex commercial mid-market risks within authority.
• Manage a strong pipeline of new business opportunities and ensure profitable growth.
• Collaborate with brokers early in submissions to shape opportunities and provide solutions.
