A leading insurance provider is seeking an Underwriter or Senior Underwriter for their Lower Middle Market division in Toronto. The role involves multiline underwriting, managing broker relationships, and generating new business revenue. Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years commercial lines underwriting experience.
• Proven ability to use technical analysis and underwriting skills to profitably grow new business revenue.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Multiline underwriting including Package, Umbrella, Auto, and ancillary lines.
• Cross-sell additional lines of business to maximize revenue per account.
• Work closely with local Business Development Managers to identify opportunities for growth.
