Job summary

Qualifications

• Undergraduate business or mathematics degree; CFA or MBA designation an asset.
• 5+ years of progressive working experience preferably in treasury and/or financial services.
• 3+ years of working experience in advanced data analytics.
• Knowledge of capital markets, institutional investors, deposit products, and forecasting concepts an asset.
• Expert knowledge with data analytics, visualization, and reporting tools (Power BI, Alteryx, SAS, Tableau) including SQL, Python, PySpark; Databricks is a plus.
• Excellent business acumen with ability to drive insights through data-driven analysis.
• Strong data management, governance, and data quality understanding.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze client deposit balances, behaviors, and trends to support Treasury and Finance decisions.
• Maintain and enhance deposit reporting, dashboards, models, and forecasting tools.
• Prepare and present analysis using Power BI and analytics tools.
• Support the Director with insights, forecasts, and recommendations on pricing and profitability.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and validate assumptions.
• Maintain and enhance analytical models and identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Use centralized data repositories to support reporting, forecasting, modelling, and analytics.
• Monitor KPIs and identify opportunities for pricing, growth, profitability, and portfolio optimization.
• Provide regular and ad hoc reporting for senior leadership.
• Identify process improvements, automation, data quality, and governance opportunities.
