Job summary

CIBC, located in Toronto, seeks an Analyst, Business Analytics to craft reporting, dashboards, and insights that support informed decision-making in a dynamic bank operations and collections setting.

You will build strong internal partnerships, deliver data-driven intelligence, and enhance reporting processes to enable a more efficient client experience. The role includes a hybrid work arrangement with 1–3 days on-site weekly.

Qualifications

• You can demonstrate experience in Alteryx, Power Automate, Excel macros, SAS, and SQL to build, maintain, and improve reporting and self-serve data workflows.
• It's an asset to hold a certification in Alteryx or Power Automate.
• You know that details matter and support data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Reporting and analysis - Create reports, dashboards, and business commentary highlighting performance and opportunities.
• Advanced analytics - Apply time-series forecasting, regression analysis, and classification methodologies.
• Automation - Lead end-to-end automation of scheduled reporting and workflows to improve efficiency.
• Relationship building - Partner with teams to communicate analysis and recommendations clearly.
• Leveraging technology - Explore and adopt new tools to support faster, more accurate delivery.
