Job Description

We are looking for a senior electrical engineering technician to join our dynamic team. The Operational and Digital Technologies team provides services for CIMA+'s various business sectors: transportation, building, infrastructure and energy. You will participate in various stages of engineering projects in fields such as Intelligent Transportation Systems, telecommunications, structured cabling, networking, IT infrastructure, video surveillance, access and intrusion control. The mentoring and resources at your disposal will enable you to complete projects to CIMA+'s high standards of excellence.

Primary Responsibilities

• Work closely with engineers on large-scale projects
• Carry out field surveys to understand existing issues before implementing solutions
• Ensure drawings meet project requirements according to standards
• Study problems and propose solutions
• Monitor electrical engineering projects
• Prepare quantity and cost estimates
• Participate in producing plans and specifications, analyze data
• Apply quality control procedures

Qualifications

• College diploma in electrical engineering
• Relevant experience in electrical engineering, telecommunications, or related fields
• Good knowledge of the Québec Electrical Code
• Ability to design and prepare estimates, specifications, and reports
• Excellent planning and communication skills in French
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Construction site safety card (ASP)
• Knowledge of intelligent transport systems, wireless building, and electrotechnical equipment (asset)
• Experience in consulting engineering (asset)
