Junior Drafting Technician/Technologist

The Junior Environmental Drafting Technician/Technologist will primarily prepare 2D plans for environmental site investigations, including site layouts, cross-sections, and site plans for remediation, as well as graphic presentations for feasibility studies and proposals. This role offers hybrid work options and multiple office locations.

Location: Calgary, AB / North York, ON / Winnipeg, MB / Vaughan, ON / Montréal, QC

The ideal candidate:

• Studies in Drafting, Civil Engineering, Surveying, Architecture, Landscape Design.
• Post-secondary education in a related field (Certificate, Diploma, Degree).
• 0-2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with LiDAR/point cloud data (considered an asset).
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil3D 2020 or later.
• Experience with Surfer, Pathfinder Office, ArcGIS, MicroStation.
• Strong AutoCAD skills (version 2020+).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent time management and adaptability.
• Knowledge of environmental sciences is a plus.
• Strong English communication skills; French is an asset.
• Eligible for federal reliability clearance.
• Ability to work across time zones.
