Qualifications

  • 5+ years of product management experience, including 3+ years in a technical product management role working with engineering teams.
  • Proven experience owning product design and UX through AI tools like Lovable, Figma, or similar.
  • Strong technical fluency—comfortable reviewing API documentation and discussing architectural trade-offs.
  • Demonstrated success delivering end-to-end products with measurable business impact.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end lifecycle of assigned products—from strategic planning and technical design to execution, delivery, and continuous improvement.
  • Translate customer and business needs into detailed product requirements, workflows, and user stories.
  • Design wireframes and user flows using AI tools like Lovable.
  • Act as the technical product owner for development teams.
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Operations, and Marketing.
  • Engage directly with clients and customers to gather feedback.
  • Track product performance metrics and user engagement data.
  • Troubleshoot product issues in collaboration with engineering.

SWTCH is pioneering EV charging solutions for multifamily and commercial properties across North America.

Founded in 2016 by entrepreneurs, investors, and energy professionals, SWTCH had a vision of enabling communities to realize the social, economic, and environmental benefits of widespread EV adoption. Since then, its EV charging and energy management solutions have been installed in hundreds of multifamily buildings, 50 percent of which are classified as low-to-moderate income. By leveraging the latest technology available, SWTCH is making EV charging possible for all buildings.

With a growing base of clients across North America, SWTCH is currently looking for opportunities to deepen our market penetration across Canada and the United States.

We are looking for an awesome Senior Technical Product Managerwho will be a key part of the SWTCH development team. You will be overseeing the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and beyond. As a tremendous resource on the team, you will bring new and impactful solutions to our customers - this will include managing the product backlog, prioritizing the various product, market, customer, and organization needs to successfully deliver a large and complex product enhancement, and drive the go-to-market function for the product organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the end-to-end lifecycle of assigned products—from strategic planning and technical design to execution, delivery, and continuous improvement
  • Translate customer and business needs into detailed product requirements, workflows, and user stories
  • Design wireframes and user flows using AI tools like Lovable, taking full ownership of the product user experience
  • Act as the technical product owner for development teams, overseeing sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release coordination
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Operations, and Marketing to align product development with operational rollout and go-to-market strategies
  • Engage directly with clients and customers to gather feedback, validate features, and iterate on solutions based on real-world usage
  • Track product performance metrics and user engagement data to inform roadmap priorities and drive measurable outcomes
  • Troubleshoot product issues in collaboration with engineering, leveraging technical depth to resolve root causes and improve reliability
  • Stay informed about trends in EV charging, energy management, and adjacent technologies to guide innovation and product differentiation

Requirements

Job Qualification:

  • 5+ years of product management experience, including 3+ years in a technical product management role working with engineering teams
  • Proven experience owning product design and UX through AI tools like Lovable, Figma, or similar—able to independently design user flows and wireframes
  • Strong technical fluency—comfortable reviewing API documentation, discussing architectural trade-offs, and working within complex systems
  • Demonstrated success delivering end-to-end products with measurable business impact in a cross-functional environment
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills with a structured, data-informed approach to decision-making
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills across engineering, operations, and customer-facing teams
  • Hands-on experience gathering customer feedback and validating features through iterative development
  • Familiarity with EV charging infrastructure, energy management platforms, or utility/grid systems is a strong plus
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science); advanced degrees are a plus but not required
