Job summary

Citi in Mississauga, Canada is seeking a technology product management leader to drive strategic product management, system integration, and AI‑driven transformation of our core Enterprise Loan Origination & Debt Capital Markets platforms. You will shape the product vision, own the end‑to‑end delivery, and lead cross‑functional teams across lending, risk, and origination platforms.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of relevant experience in technology product management, capital markets product development, or a hybrid product‑engineering role in a global financial institution.
• Deep, specialized knowledge of corporate lending and debt capital markets workflows, including loan origination, credit approval processes, loan syndication, covenant monitoring, servicing, and front‑office banker journeys.
• Practical experience identifying, designing, and delivering AI/ML‑enabled product features (e.g., NLP, predictive pricing analytics, recommendation engines, and decision‑support systems).
• Extensive experience leading complex integration programmes across multiple legacy and modern applications, utilizing APIs, microservices, and modern data architectures.
• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, compliance standards, and risk management practices (including ESG/ESRM frameworks) within financial services.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Proficiency in data analysis and statistical modeling. Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., Python, R) is a plus to bridge the gap between business requirements and technical design.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to influence, align, and collaborate with senior business, technology, risk, and operations partners globally.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.

• Lead End‑to‑End Product Delivery: Own the roadmap for Lending and Capital Markets initiatives in an Agile environment.
• Identify & Deliver AI‑Enabled Solutions: Prioritize AI/ML opportunities with governance and explainability.
• Collaborate & Communicate: Define requirements and prioritise delivery across front, middle, and operations.
• Prototyping & Architecture: Build proofs‑of‑concept and prototypes for AI applications in lending and capital markets tooling.
