What you will be doing:

• Prepare tax provisions schedules, tax and information returns, payments calculation, reports, and maintain the company's database.
• Prepare and review working paper files to support tax filings.
• Coordinate and work with external advisors.
• Assist management with projects and implementation of strategies.
• Ensure that the company complies with federal, provincial, and municipal tax regulations.
• Keep up-to-date and share knowledge on tax changes and industry trends.

What you must have:

• CPA designation.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a relevant field.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Tax Accountant or in a similar role.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in all areas of work.
• Excellent people skills and strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to multi-task, work well under pressure, and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft applications - Excel, Word, Outlook.
• Experienced with Corporate TaxPrep.
• Past work experience in public practice is preferable.

Salary/Rate Range: $80,000 - $95,000
