Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil, Geotechnical, or Geological Engineering.
  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation in Canada.
  • Demonstrated expertise in tailings dam design, closure planning, and risk-based decision-making.
  • Proven leadership experience managing teams and delivering complex, multidisciplinary projects.
  • Strong understanding of permitting, environmental, and regulatory processes in the mining sector.
  • A passion for mentorship, innovation, and advancing sustainable engineering solutions.

  • Lead geotechnical and hydrogeological investigations to support critical project decisions.

Your Impact

  • Lead geotechnical and hydrogeological investigations to support critical project and business decisions
  • Provide strategic input into permitting, environmental planning, and risk management frameworks

  • Mentor and develop junior and intermediate engineers, fostering technical excellence and career growth
  • Champion innovative mine waste management strategies and sustainable mining practices
  • Build trusted client relationships and support business development initiatives

Compensation
  • AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $135,200 – $179,100
  • MB & ON: $123,300 – $169,800
  • NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $122,100 – $162,200
