We are seeking a Systems Integration Specialist to support enterprise software integrations, focusing on the data aspects of connecting business applications with our AI-enhanced document management system. This role involves data modelling, API exploration, and collaboration with business and technical teams to ensure consistent, efficient, and scalable data integration.

WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS

• Collaborate with application SMEs to understand enterprise software data models.
• Assess data and metadata requirements based on business needs.
• Design data models for integration, ensuring alignment with existing structures.
• Explore and evaluate APIs for data extraction and integration.
• Develop and refine data pipelines, including multi-step processing and direct API-based interactions.
• Configure and manage data extraction, transformation, and storage within Google Cloud Platform (GCP), leveraging Google Cloud Storage (GCS) as needed.
• Utilize Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) to orchestrate and manage workloads efficiently.
• Engage in technical discussions with development teams, particularly around custom Python-based tooling, Terraform job configurations, and automation within OpenText software.
• Troubleshoot data load issues by analyzing pipeline data and querying PostgreSQL databases.
• Ensure data integrity, consistency, and performance across integrations.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

• Strong experience in systems integration, data modelling, and data integration.
• Proficiency in working with RESTful APIs and understanding API-based data interactions.
• Experience with Python for scripting and automation.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform for system configuration.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes for workload orchestration and management.
• Experience with cloud workloads, particularly within Google Cloud Platform (GCP) using Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
• Ability to troubleshoot data loads and ETL processes.
• Proficiency in writing and executing queries in PostgreSQL for troubleshooting and validation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to design efficient, scalable data workflows.
• Ability to work closely with business SMEs and technical development teams.
