Position Name – Netcool Integration & Monitoring Specialist

Type of hiring – Subcon

Job Description:

Project scope

• There are up to 6 new Netcool message bus integration to perform and we estimate an average of about 4 weeks each.
• Some will translate to new probes installation, other will be leveraging existing probes
• Parsing of the payload is needed for each of the instances
• Rulesfile need to be created for each of the instances

Project requirements

• Finalize detailed design working with different team
• Provide weekly progress report
• Having the detailed design reviewed and approved by the OSS Fault Management team
• Perform the required rulesfile and integration work in non-prod environment before going to production
• Respect the OSS Fault Management alarm integration standard
• Test and validate with stakeholders
• Correct all bugs highlighted during validation and adjust rules files from stakeholders feedback
• Have a peer review of final solution and associated rules with OSS Fault Management prime
• Deploy in production as per change enablement process
• Provide a warranty period to ensure the quality of the solution
• Document the solution

• 5+ Years of experience working on Netcool
• Fully autonomous in developing solution on Netcool platform
• Working level expertise of Linux RedHat
• Expertise in building rulesfile
• Expertise in installing and configuring message bus probes
