Job summary

Ultra Maritime is seeking a Senior System Engineer to lead multi-disciplinary teams on anti-submarine warfare initiatives for naval customers. You will manage requirements, design reviews, and integration strategies across lifecycle stages, ensuring cost, schedule, and performance targets are met.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, contribute to bid efforts, and stay current with advancing technologies in the maritime domain. A security clearance may be required for programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Systems Engineering or related field required.
• 6+ years in Systems Engineering, preferably naval defense or complex engineering.
• Knowledge of EMI/EMC and MIL-STD in defense applications.
• Experience with sonar systems and naval deployment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Applies systems engineering methods to develop complex solutions on time and within budget.
• Leads technical reviews and risk management activities.
• Defines integration, verification, and validation strategies for programs.
• Manages work packages and interfaces with customers and stakeholders.
• Supports technical proposals and bid efforts.
