W Electric Canada Inc in Kitchener, Ontario is seeking a Senior Supplier Manufacturing Professional to oversee supplier performance for structural and mechanical components and drive corrective actions in collaboration with suppliers.

You will report to the Engineered Solutions Supply Execution Supervisor and be based in Kitchener, with a remote work arrangement and travel ~25% within Canada and the United States.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in supplier quality/manufacturing oversight roles.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering.
• Knowledge of machining, welding, forming, assembly, inspection, testing, and NDE.
• Experience with PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC/Cpk, APQP/PPAP.
• Travel ~25% within Canada and some US.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supplier compliance with technical, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Develop Supplier Oversight Plans for submittals, manufacturing, inspections.
• Monitor performance and lead root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Lead supplier development and capability assessments.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities to resolve issues and secure supply.
