Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; professional registration preferred.
• Registration or progress toward registration as P.Eng./EGBC or equivalent.
• 8+ years for Senior Engineer; 12+ years for Specialist Engineer; junior roles possible with vacancies.
• Travel for site visits as required; valid Class 5 driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design for 12 kV–500 kV substations, AIS/GIS and greenfield/brownfield projects.
• Oversee design standards, grounding, protection, and regulatory compliance.
• Perform and supervise 3D modelling and layout work using AutoCAD, Inventor, Vault.
• Provide technical leadership in seismic, civil, and electrical analyses for substations.
• Support installation, commissioning and field issue resolution to ensure safe outcomes.
