Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Senior Subsea Pipeline Engineer to join a world-class engineering team, operating in a fully remote capacity with oversight for projects impacting the Kimberley region. This senior role will lead the design, analysis, and integrity management of subsea pipelines and associated infrastructure.

You will ensure safety, reliability, and efficiency in harsh offshore environments, contributing expertise to major international offshore projects and driving

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
• 10+ years of progressive subsea pipeline engineering experience.
• Expertise in pipeline design codes (DNV, API) and simulation software.
• Strong knowledge of installation methods, welding, and NDT.
• Experience with pipeline integrity management and risk-based assessment.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving in a fully remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and analysis of subsea pipeline systems, including route selection and wall thickness calculations.
• Perform stress and fatigue analyses and integrity assessments for pipelines and risers.
• Develop and implement pipeline installation procedures and specifications.
• Oversee pipeline pre-commissioning, commissioning, and decommissioning activities.
• Manage pipeline integrity programs, including inspection, monitoring, and repair strategies.
• Liaise with clients, regulators, and contractors on technical matters.

About the Role

This senior role will lead the design, analysis, and integrity management of subsea pipelines and associated infrastructure. You will be responsible for ensuring the safety, reliability, and efficiency of these critical components in harsh offshore environments. Key Responsibilities
