Job summary

NORR in Toronto seeks a Principal, Structural Engineering to lead the delivery of our most complex projects from pursuit through completion. You will act as a senior project delivery leader and Centre of Excellence member, guiding teams and mentoring the next generation of leaders.

The role requires 12–15 years of experience and a B.Eng, with strong leadership, client relations, and risk management capabilities.

• Lead the successful delivery of large-scale and complex structural engineering projects.
• Provide executive oversight of delivery performance, quality, and contractual commitments.
• Manage risk and strengthen governance and standards as a Centre of Excellence member.
• Build trusted client relationships and long-term partnerships through exemplary outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of large-scale and complex projects from pursuit through completion.
• Provide executive oversight of project delivery, performance, and quality.
• Collaborate with Practice Leaders, Operations and Studio Managers to improve delivery excellence across the organization.
• Advance project delivery standards and governance within the Centre of Excellence.
• Foster client relationships and strategic partnerships through successful project outcomes.
• Contribute expertise during planning, client presentations and interviews.
