Job summary

WSP is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to deliver industrial structural design from concept to construction at our New Brunswick offices. You will lead advanced structural analysis for steel and concrete facilities and collaborate with a tight-knit team of engineers and designers.

The role requires a Civil/Structural Engineering degree, P.Eng in NB or ON, and strong CSA standards knowledge. Travel to project sites may be required, with opportunities to influence major projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering is required.
• P.Eng license in NB or Ontario is required or in progress.
• Advanced experience in structural design for industrial/mining sectors.
• Proven expertise in steel and concrete structures and in technical project management.
• Strong knowledge of CSA standards, building codes, and structural software.
• Experience in multidisciplinary coordination and client relations.
• Ability to mentor and develop talent within the team.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to project sites.

In this role, you’ll help deliver impactful industrial structural engineering projects—from conceptual design to construction—while collaborating with a tight‑knit team of engineers, designers, and technical specialists. Your Impact

• Lead advanced analysis and the design of steel and concrete structures for major industrial facilities.

• Support multidisciplinary coordination throughout the entire project lifecycle.

The skills that set you apart

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering; a master’s degree is an asset.


• P.Eng. license in New Brunswick or Ontario.


• Advanced experience in structural design within the industrial or mining sector.


• Proven expertise in steel and concrete structures and in technical project management.


• Strong knowledge of CSA standards, building codes, and advanced structural software (STAAD, S-Frame, SAP2000, etc.).


• Experience in multidisciplinary coordination and client relations.


• Ability to mentor and develop talent within the team.


• Willingness to travel occasionally to project sites.

Compensation

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $114,600 to $151,800

MB & ON: $104,500 to $143,900

NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $103,500 to $137,400
