Job summary

WSP in Canada is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to lead advanced analyses and the design of steel and concrete structures for major industrial facilities, from concept to construction, based in New Brunswick offices.

You will mentor junior engineers, sign and seal calculations per provincial requirements, oversee site visits, and support multidisciplinary coordination across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering; a master’s degree is an asset.
  • P.Eng license in New Brunswick or Ontario.
  • Advanced experience in structural design within the industrial or mining sector.
  • Proven expertise in steel and concrete structures and in technical project management.
  • Strong knowledge of CSA standards, building codes, and advanced structural software (STAAD, S-Frame, SAP2000, etc.).
  • Experience in multidisciplinary coordination and client relations.
  • Ability to mentor and develop talent within the team.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to project sites.

  • Conduct key site visits and oversee construction reviews.
  • Support multidisciplinary coordination throughout the entire project lifecycle.

To support our continued growth, we are hiring a SeniorStructural Engineer.In this role, you’ll help deliver impactful industrial structural engineering projects—from conceptual design to construction—while collaborating with a tight‑knit team of engineers, designers, and technical specialists. We are seeking candidates who desire to work out of our New Brunswick offices.

Compensation

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $114,600 to $151,800
MB & ON: $104,500 to $143,900
NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $103,500 to $137,400
