Job summary

Canterra Group is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer in Toronto to join its GTA practice. You will take a senior role in project delivery, work directly with clients and lead technically challenging projects from investigation through construction.

For the right candidate, there is a genuine career path toward Associate, with a compensation package up to $150,000 base plus bonus and benefits. Strong client-facing and leadership skills are required.

Qualifications

• Strong structural engineering and project delivery experience.
• Knowledge of Ontario codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural engineering projects from concept through construction.
• Perform structural analysis and rehabilitation of existing structures.
• Manage project scope, schedules and deliverables.
• Review drawings, calculations and technical reports.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors and other consultants.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Develop and maintain client relationships.
• Support growth of the structural practice.
