Job summary

Canterra Group is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer in Toronto to join its GTA practice. You will take a senior role in project delivery, work directly with clients and lead technically challenging projects from investigation through construction.

For the right candidate, there is a genuine career path toward Associate, with a compensation package up to $150,000 base plus bonus and benefits. Strong client-facing and leadership skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural engineering projects from concept through construction.

Canterra Group has been retained by a growing consulting engineering firmto recruit an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join its GTApractice.

This is an opportunity for an established structural engineer who enjoystechnically challenging work but is also thinking about the next stage of theircareer.

Our client has a strong pipeline of projects and is looking for someonewho can take a senior role in project delivery, work directly with clients andcontinue developing toward a leadership position within the firm. For the rightindividual, there is a genuine career path toward Associate.

The Opportunity

You will take a senior role in the delivery of structural engineering projects, working with clients, consultants and internal engineering teams frominvestigation and design through construction.

Depending on your experience, responsibilities will include:

• Leading structural engineeringprojects from concept through construction
  
• Structural analysis, design andrehabilitation of existing structures
  
• Managing project scope, schedulesand deliverables
  
• Reviewing drawings, calculationsand technical reports
  
• Coordinating with architects,contractors and other consultants

Requirements

What We're Looking For
