Job summary

Kleinschmidt is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join our Canada offices in Ontario or Halifax. You will manage projects, oversee client relationships, and perform technical design for hydroelectric, fisheries, and water resources projects.

A licensed Professional Engineer with a Civil Engineering degree and 10+ years of experience is required. Proficiency with structural tools (MathCAD, RISA-3D, SAP2000, AutoCAD, Revit) is preferred. Hybrid work is offered.

Qualifications

• Licensed Professional Engineer in Canada.
• BS/BSc or BEng in Civil Engineering with concentration in Structural Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in structural engineering.
• Experience with hydroelectric design projects and water-related projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects and client relationships for hydroelectric, fisheries, and water resources assignments.
• Perform technical design and analysis for structural components.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams and mentor junior staff.
