Job summary

Klohn Crippen Berger Ltd. (KCB) Infrastructure is seeking a Sr. Structural Engineer to lead design for dams, hydraulic structures, and water infrastructure, working with multi-disciplinary teams from concept to completion.

Based in Calgary, Edmonton, or Saskatoon, you will mentor juniors and build client relationships on challenging projects. You will travel to project sites in Alberta and beyond, prepare reports and proposals, and collaborate with colleagues across Canada and international

Qualifications

• PEg registration in Canada or eligibility for Alberta
• 15+ years of design and construction experience on dams, hydraulic structures and water infrastructure
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Lead structural and civil designs for dams, hydraulic structures, and water infrastructure.
• Prepare technical reports, proposals, and project deliverables.
• Participate in site visits to inform design decisions and ensure quality throughout project execution.
• Collaborate with colleagues from other offices on multi-disciplinary teams.
• Mentor and coach junior engineers and support technical development.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and support business development.
• Travel periodically to project locations in Alberta and beyond.
