Job summary

Klohn Crippen Berger Ltd. (KCB) Infrastructure is seeking a Sr. Structural Engineer to lead structural and civil designs for dams and water infrastructure. The role involves multi-disciplinary collaboration with teams in Canada and abroad and mentoring junior engineers.

The candidate should have a P.Eng. registration in Canada or eligibility in Alberta, a Structural or Civil degree, and 15+ years of relevant experience. Travel to project sites in Alberta and other locations is expected.

Qualifications

• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) registration in Canada or eligibility for Alberta.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
• 15+ years of engineering experience in dams, hydraulic structures, and water infrastructure.
• Experience in reinforced concrete and structural steel design.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural and civil designs for dams, hydraulic structures, and other water infrastructure projects.
• Prepare technical reports, proposals, and project deliverables.
• Participate in site visits to inform design decisions and ensure quality.
• Mentor junior engineers and support business development.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams across offices.
