Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our Vancouver team.

Role Responsibilities:

• Concept studies, including estimating quantities and preliminary designs.
• Detailed concrete and steel design, coordinating with Drafters for models and documentation aligned with QA standards.
• Assist with construction inquiries, including safe lifting and erection procedures.
• Interface with Electrical, Process, and Mechanical engineering disciplines.
• Focus on technical innovation and continuous improvement.

Candidate Requirements:

• Registered P.Eng or able to obtain the P.Eng designation within 12 months.
• Experience in design, consultancy, or operational environments.
• Mining or metals industry experience is highly regarded.
• Ability to manage time, priorities, and activities effectively and safely.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of Canadian building codes across provinces is desirable.

Salary range in BC: $110,000 - $170,000. The offered salary will consider education, experience, skills, location, and market conditions.
