The TELUS Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team is a high-performing, collaborative group responsible for overseeing financial planning processes, corporate and business unit scorecards, and analysis for senior leaders and key stakeholders.

The impact you’ll make and what we’ll accomplish together

As a trusted business partner reporting to the Controller, you will support senior leaders including the CFO and CHRO, managing Corporate and Business Unit Scorecards and influencing key People & Culture initiatives like the Performance Bonus program. Your ability to build strong stakeholder relationships across all levels is crucial.

Here’s how:

  • Develop and report on Corporate and Business Unit Scorecards, highlighting risks and opportunities to senior stakeholders
  • Align Business Unit performance with overall strategic goals
  • Collaborate with Finance and People & Culture team members to enhance analysis quality
  • Propose measurable, motivating scorecard metrics and communicate their impacts
  • Lead governance reviews of scorecards
  • Scope tasks, set objectives, develop schedules, and anticipate challenges
  • Manage multiple requirements and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
  • Oversee financial aspects of the performance bonus program
  • Apply analytical, financial modeling, and innovative thinking skills with ownership and decision-making capabilities
  • Communicate complex ideas clearly to senior leadership

What you bring

  • 7-10 years of progressive experience in a large, complex organization
  • CPA designation
  • Deep understanding of the Canadian Telecommunications industry and TELUS operations
  • Exceptional communication, influencing, and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency with Google and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to analyze data and translate insights into recommendations
  • Ability to operate at the intersection of big ideas and details, leading and supporting effectively

Great-to-haves

  • Knowledge of SAP, Hyperion, SAP S4 Hana
  • Experience leading management professionals
  • Interest in AI and Machine Learning
  • Certifications in strategy, project management, innovation, or organizational development
Salary Range: $99,000-$149,000
Performance Bonus/Sales Incentive: 15%
Total compensation depends on experience and performance. Benefits include:
