Job summary

Saskatchewan Government Insurance is seeking a Senior Strategy & Corporate Governance leader to drive SGI's long-term plans and ensure alignment with Crown corporation objectives. This role collaborates with the Senior Director, VP, and SGI Board to define and execute strategic initiatives.

The successful candidate will lead strategy development, governance oversight, and performance measurement, while guiding organizational change and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• A four-year degree in a relevant field such as business.
• Ten years of strategy formulation and corporate governance experience, with at least six years in progressively senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review SGI's long-term and annual strategic plans with senior leadership.
• Draft and align strategic objectives with corporate goals and governance standards.
• Lead the TOM process and coordinate cross-functional strategy reviews.
• Oversee budgeting, risk management, and internal controls within the strategy function.
• Support talent development and succession planning for strategic roles.
