Saskatchewan Government Insurance is seeking an Analyst (Appraisal/Salvage) to drive data analytics for national auto damage appraisal and salvage programs in Regina.

In-Scope Full time, Temporary (term up to 2 years) Location: Regina Commercial Claims Centre. This role is eligible for hybrid work. This means you’ll have the flexibility of working from home and in the office on a scheduled rotation once training requirements have been met. The Analyst (Appraisal/Salvage) is responsible for data analysis with respect to the national auto damage appraisal and salvage programs. The Analyst provides day-to-day technical, data analytical, and operational support for the Salvage, Appraisals and Technical Research Services functions.

Supports the Accreditation/Preferred Partner Program(s), including the application process, annual self-declaration compliance, body shop accreditation levels, performance management plans, high performance partner program, and coordination of partner communications. Supports the Audit Program, including preparing the monthly appraisal desk review package, file maintenance in GIS, audit communications, and processing of recoveries.
Supports a culture of leadership and accountability to effectively meet the key accountabilities within the scope of the role. Displays leadership by committing to a culture of continuous learning/development of self and supports others by actively sharing knowledge, providing guidance, mentoring, training, and supporting developmental opportunities. Demonstrates that the Health, Safety and Emergency Management Policy is applied in area of responsibility for self and others. Actively applies knowledge to support transformation and strategic initiatives of the corporation, while participating and advocating change and applying a growth mindset.
Four-year degree from an accredited post-secondary education institution in a relevant field of study, such as Business or Mathematics and Applied Sciences, or defined equivalency.
5 - 7 years’ experience in the data analytics field.
Physical Effort and Environment: Majority of time spent in a typical work environment with occasional and/or mild exposure to unpleasant conditions and light physical effort. Sensory Attention: Moderate periods of concentration on a variety of sensory inputs requiring close attention several times daily. Mental Stress: Some exposure to factors that would produce mental stress.
