Job summary

EDF power solutions North America is seeking a Manager, Strategic Sourcing to oversee sourcing of goods and services for renewable energy assets and corporate needs, ensuring alignment with company objectives.

The role leads a team, manages RFI/RFQ/RFP processes, builds supplier relationships, and develops commodity strategies to preserve supply continuity and drive savings. Hybrid work model across multiple offices included.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in Strategic Sourcing, Category Management and Inventory Management.
• 3+ years of experience leading a team of 4+ employees (direct reports).

Responsibilities

• Lead team of strategic buyers towards achievement of strategic sourcing goals including savings targets and Total Cost of Ownership reduction.
• Lead and manage RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs from start to finish and negotiate contract terms/master service agreements.
• Foster relationships with internal stakeholders to establish annual Procurement Plans and supply contracts.
• Develop and manage commodity sourcing strategies to address market conditions and technology roadmaps.
• Develop and maintain supplier relationships and evaluate supplier core competencies and competitive positioning.
• Drive process improvements and create procedures and work instructions.
• Other duties as assigned.
