Job summary

Finastra is seeking a Senior Manager for Site Reliability Engineering in Mississauga to lead availability, performance, and reliability of containerized business applications. You will bridge development and operations, troubleshoot complex issues, automate tasks, and guide deployments with strong DevOps practices.

The role requires hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Bash and Python, plus expertise in Java applications, log analysis, and multi-cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in application support, production support, or systems engineering.
• Troubleshoot Java applications, keystore, heap settings, and tuning.
• Hands-on Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.
• Strong scripting using Bash and Python to automate workflows.
• Experience with log analysis tools like Grafana/Loki.
• Advanced Linux skills and DR/failover knowledge.

Responsibilities

• DevOps pipelines: create, manage, and support deployment pipelines.
• Diagnose runtime errors, connectivity issues, and performance bottlenecks.
• Incident management: lead RCA and implement fixes.
• Deployment support across staging and production with automated pipelines.
• Automate health checks, log rotation, and recovery procedures.
• Configure dashboards and alerts to detect anomalies before impact.
