Robertson & Company Ltd. invites applications for an IT - Site Reliability Engineer IV to support a leading financial institution in Toronto, Ontario. The role is hybrid, with core business hours and a focus on cloud deployment, monitoring and automation in a complex enterprise setting.

The contract runs 12 months with possible extension or conversion. The pay rate starts at $70 per hour, targeting senior DevOps/Cloud capabilities and leadership in resolving critical infrastructure challenges.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree required.
• Cloud experience with Azure including IaaS, IaC.
• Databricks experience.
• Configuration management tools such as Salt, Terraform, Ansible or Chef.
• Development/Engineering experience: PowerShell, Bash, Shell, Python.
• Jenkins, GitHub, Bitbucket, Nexus or similar toolsets.

Responsibilities

• Contribute in a complex and critical environment.
• Deploy, manage and operate complex cloud-based applications (Azure).
• Write scripts for automation using PowerShell, Bash, Python.
• Understand DevOps concepts (CI, CD, CM, IaC) and Agile principles.
• Serve as senior/lead SME to address and resolve highly complex development-related issues.
• Exhibit excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Monitor and log infrastructure, services and applications.
• Knowledge of big data technologies and data storage/indexing is a plus.
